En-suite accommodation is available in single rooms in modern architect-designed terraces. These rooms are arranged in houses or flats with facilities for making tea and coffee in shared kitchens.
Bed linen, towels & toiletries are also be provided. Should you need to arrive on Sunday, 8 July or depart on Saturday, 14 July we can extend your stay at £50 per night.
Please note that check in is from 2.00 pm on your day of arrival and you must check out of your room before 10.00 am on your day of departure.
Breakfast (full English) is included in the cost of the room and will be served in the Zest Restaurant from 0700 hrs. Refreshments and a finger buffet lunch will be available each day in The Hive. This is the same room where the posters will be displayed as well as stands and the conference desk and is very close to the lecture theatre.
On Monday evening there will be a Welcome Reception in the Vista Restaurant – 2 storeys above the Zest Restaurant in The Square. There will be a Poster session in The Hive on Tuesday evening with refreshments kindly provided by Wiley-Blackwell. On Wednesday evening we will be taking a short walk to a local pub for a barbecue. The price of the barbecue does include 2 drinks and there is ‘Real Ale’ to be sampled here – don’t miss out! On Thursday evening we go into the centre of Norwich to the Assembly House for our Symposium banquet. This is Norwich city centre’s most prestigious venue with food and service to match. The Music room with its chandeliers and minstrels gallery is just stunning. We have received very generous sponsorship from Loligo Systems for the reception and dinner drinks.
You will see from our registration form that it is possible to book either the whole package at a reduced rate or to pick and choose whatever suits your needs.
We offer a complete package of accommodation and all meals starting with dinner on Monday and finishing with lunch on Friday in a single en-suite room @ £360.00.
UEA charge a Daily Delegate Fee (not to be confused with the Daily Symposium Fee). This fee includes lunch and all refreshments. We have included this charge in the full package but if you are booking accommodation for less than the full week or are only attending as a day delegate you will need to pay this fee for each day you attend the symposium.
All the above prices include local taxes.
If you are an accompanying person we have only included the cost of Bed & Breakfast and the evening meals.
Any queries regarding accommodation or registration should be made directly with the symposium organiser, Tricia Ellis-Evans.
Please go to the Registration page for the information on registering for the symposium as well as the registration form.
